Babson College Center for Entrepreneurship. Babson is perhaps the original entrepreneurial school. The site provides some full papers and abstracts on line. It also gives details of three initiatives: the Entrepreneurial Research Consortium (ERC), Babson College - Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BKERC) and the Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research. Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership Clearinghouse on Entrepreneurship Education. This is part of the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) system that was started thirty years ago by the U.S. Department of Education to disseminate information that would not be distributed through normal sources. European Commission home pages for directorates-general (DG III Industry, DG V Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs, DG XXII Education, Training and Youth and DG XXIII Enterprise Policy, Distributive Trades, Tourism and Cooperatives are worth a special visit) Enterweb provides a comprehensive set of links for entrepreneurs to internet sites across the world (Canada) eWeb at Saint Louis University. This was one of the first web sites devoted to entrepreneurship. It was developed by Prof. Jerome Katz and provides an extensive collection of worthwhile information. Information Centre for Entrepreneurship at Jönköping University Library is an excellent resource. The database of publications is well worth a visit, although it does not appear currently to provide comprehensive searches of journal articles. They describe the service as providing "one of the world's largest collections in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovations and small and medium-sized enterprises. Primarily a resource for research, ICE also has quite a large number of publications for more practical purposes. The collection of printed materials includes books, dissertations, working papers, conference proceedings and periodicals." International Council for Small Business. This is agency promotes small business research and dissemination across the world. There are some full papers and abstracts available at this site. Institute of Small Business Affairs . This is a UK based institute that promotes research dissemination. This site provides details of current research in the UK, forthcoming coming events and publications. Small Business Advancement National Center at the University of Arkansas. This site provides a useful archive of recent research. Small Business Research 2000 provides access to the findings of research to Australian small business. Provided by the Small Business Development Corporation of Western Australia. Small Business Innovation Research, U.S. Department of Education US Small Business Administration. This is a government-based agency that provides practical information to small businesses. |
